  Great country pub with lots of character. I like its cosy feel and little hideaway alcoves to sit and chat with friends. Food very good and well priced. Staff are friendly and efficient. Id recommend the experience

  It's a gastropub with prices as you'd expect for a place with high quality meals (£20 for a fillet steak). Whether £20 for a steak seems a lot is subjective of course but The Bull's Head feels very much like a place where you get what you pay for.
  
  Ok, if price is a determining factor, you may be disappointed compared to other local places where a Hunters chicken could be had for half price at a local 2-4-1 place, but ultimately you're not coming to the Bull's Head to get some cheap food.
  
  Overall it's a very good place with a small outdoor area beat suited to the summer (nice touch - dog biscuits and water are provided for four legged friends!).
  
  In my years of going there I've yet to have a bad meal, but rate it four out of five because some may consider it a bit expensive even if, personally, I think it is worth the premium.

  Not been here for a while but used to have family meals here a lot. Always lovely food. Can get a little crowded but overall a nice place to visit
